D8 is a very large area. You need to do a lot of perscouting if you want to take a buck! The frog meadow, tobis peek area has some deer and is a higher elevation also a lot of road hunters, do some scouting in this area. GET OUT OF THE TRUCK AND HIKE. you will need a good pair binoculars. Another area you might try is hwy 178 to sherman pass rd to cherry hill rd the poison meadow area, again a lot of road hunters. MAKE SURE YOU SPEND SOME TIME AT THE RANGE!! NOTHING WORSE THAN FINDING A BUCK AND MISSING!!!!! YOU NEED TO DO SOME SCOUTING IN BOTH AREAS. Please let me know how you do.
